To think that after all these years of incredible awardworthy performances, Leo is still holding out for that elusive Oscar. But from what I’ve read on him and the interviews I’ve watched, I don’t think it interferes with his creative ability. So driven and professional in the way he holds himself, he’s already a multiple winner in the eyes of many. Fantastic article on him this month GQ Australia! ADAM, VIA EMAIL Agreed on all fronts Adam – our hope is that he’s now a proud owner of a gold statuette called Oscar. That is siiiiick!!!!!!! I’m with Leo now and will show him!!! JOHN RUSSO, VIA INSTAGRAM Thanks John, you sure know how to take a good cover shot. We hope Mr Dicaprio was a fan too.

Photographer John Russo’s exceptional shots of Leonardo were a highlight and the ‘Where You’d Rather Be’ article has inspired me to look at booking my next trip away. However, the best article for me was the watch summary because I have finally found a new watch to buy my husband for our anniversary – yeah! Love the Baume & Mercier but Panerai is the winner. Loved everything, don’t change a bit GQ! PHILIP, VIA EMAIL Happy anniversary Philip, we hope your husband is forever on time.

With a long-haul flight to Melbourne I stopped by the newsstand for some magazines. Your team really killed it with the latest issue. I took your advice to enjoy Koreatown on my LAX layover and see what’s current on the Hit List. Thanks for such an inspiring issue and helping me get my ‘Business Casual’ updated to a super GQ ‘Smart Business Casual’ look. JOHN, VIA EMAIL GQ Australia, it’s articles like the Julia Bishop GQ&A that keep me coming back every month to buy the new issue. Please keep up the awesome journalism! BROOK, VIA FACEBOOK Apart from the great GQ&A with Julie Bishop and the piece on Leo, the Outfitter section was a perfect addition for this year’s first issue. Figuring out what to wear each day to the office can sometimes be a struggle, but in the ‘On & Off Duty’ section there were brilliant tips being handed out. I’ve even been given a few compliments on my style since. How can I pass that up from being the best part of the Feb issue? RYAN, VIA EMAIL Pleased to hear it Ryan, we’ll be sure to let Olivia, our market editor, know. Just came across this magazine by accident. I am really interested. This is a magazine that focuses on most of the movie stars. It is pretty much like PEOPLE magazine with a European side to it. I would recommend it. Loved it!! Always so classy. JARED, VIA EMAIL ‘Pretty much like PEOPLE Magazine’ – wow, you’ve really grasped what we're about.
