THE ALBUM

Between 2011 and 2014, our ’90s indie crush, PJ Harvey, travelled to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington DC to “smell the air, feel the soil and meet the people” living among unrest, poverty and power. The trip inspired Harvey’s debut poetry book and this welcome, sonic return: a defiant and brooding LP that speaks for those without a platform. The Hope Six Demolition Project is available now; pjharvey.net
