PHOTOGRAPHER

The talented London-based Mr Duquesne was on hand to shoot our Paris fashion story (p162), and c’est fantastique.

WHAT WAS YOUR INSPIRATION FOR THE SHOOT?

The famous French actor Alain Delon.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE CITY TO PHOTOGRAPH IN?

I love travelling, so where I haven’t been is my next favourite city.

TELL US THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER.

The rush you get when you work with your favourite people and the vibe that comes together on set.

ON SHOOT DAY, WHAT’S A PHOTOGRAPHER’S WORST NIGHTMARE?

I’m never keen on rain. But saying that, you have to make bad situations work and then learn each time.

ARE THERE ANY MODELS YOU’D LIKE TO WORK WITH?

I’ve worked with her a number of times but I’d definitely like to work with Australian model Madeleine Gurton again.

IS INSTAGRAM A HELP OR A HINDRANCE IN YOUR LINE OF WORK?

It’s definitely opened up some doors for me, so I can’t complain.

WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO FILTER?

Vaseline.

IF YOU WEREN’T A PHOTOGRAPHER, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?

I’d probably give cinematography a go.
