T-shirts and timepieces are a somewhat unlikely combination, but new kid on the block, Mister Wolf, has landed at Sydney custom T-shirtmakers, Citizen Wolf. Launched online in June, Mister Wolf is an Australian bespoke watch service that allows customers to select straps, dials, case and hand colours for a personalised finished product. Now, Mister Wolf is entering the physical world at Citizen Wolf’s Darlinghurst outpost on Crown St. “It’s a great fit,” says watchmaker Leighton Clarke, who enlisted industrial designer Tom Fereday to help create his slick line. “I want to partner with people I enjoy working with, people that intrinsically have a love for the product and enjoy the Mister Wolf concept,” says Clarke. “The guys at Citizen Wolf have the whole customisation deal worked out with their custom-fit T-shirts and have created a unique retail experience with Mister Wolf alongside their existing collections.” Visitors to the Citizen Wolf store can engage with watch components, make their selection and have the final product delivered, thanks to Clarke’s personal input. “Assembling the final selection gives me the opportunity to be part of that process, while allowing customers to have a huge selection of combinations,” says Clarke. 255B Crown St, Darlinghurst, NSW; watchmisterwolf.com; citizenwolf.com
