Three-time Logie winner Hugh Sheridan will star in season five of the Aussie drama, with regulars Firass Dirani, Rhys Muldoon and Gary Sweet back on board. Sheridan will play a music teacher and love interest of Rachel (Jane Allsop). Airs in September on Nine Network
This petrol-soaked two-parter, starring Matt le Nevez, explores the life of Australian motorsport legend Peter Brock. It details how his fast ways on the track mirrored the multiple Bathurst champion’s swagger and womanising charm off it. Expected early October, Network Ten
After appearing in last year’s Jessica Jones, Luke Cage is getting his very own spin-off. The show follows a fugitive trying to rebuild his life after a botched experiment left him with super strength and unbreakable skin. Airs September 30 on Netflix
The first season charted Pablo Escobar’s dramatic rise to power, over about a decade, but the second promises to narrow its focus, covering the kingpin’s (played by Wagner Moura) escape from prison and subsequent demise. Airs September 2 on Netflix
MASTERS OF SEX
The arty/raunchy period drama picks up in the late ’60s, as key players Masters (Michael Sheen) and Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) shift from mere sex researchers into celebrities. Season four is set to screen on SBS, but with no date yet, head to Stan to binge watch the first three.
