45ml vodka (from the freezer, nothing infused. Aim for Absolut, Finlandia or Grey Goose) Tomato juice (bottled or tinned, not fresh) 50ml fresh lemon juice 15ml Worcestershire sauce 1 dash celery salt 2-3 dashes Tabasco sauce 1 celery stick (or cucumber sliced lengthwise for a twist) Cracked black pepper Ice cubes
Put a handful of ice cubes in a glass – Collins, or mix things up with a red wine glass. Add lemon juice, vodka, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauce (in that order), add the celery salt and fill remainder with the tomato juice. Gently roll the ingredients together in the glass and top with cracked pepper and the celery stick (or cucumber) to garnish. Repeat. Hourly.
