IN­GRE­DI­ENTS

45ml vodka (from the freezer, noth­ing in­fused. Aim for Ab­so­lut, Fin­lan­dia or Grey Goose) To­mato juice (bot­tled or tinned, not fresh) 50ml fresh lemon juice 15ml Worcestershire sauce 1 dash cel­ery salt 2-3 dashes Tabasco sauce 1 cel­ery stick (or cu­cum­ber sliced length­wise for a twist) Cracked black pep­per Ice cubes

METHOD

Put a hand­ful of ice cubes in a glass – Collins, or mix things up with a red wine glass. Add lemon juice, vodka, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauce (in that or­der), add the cel­ery salt and fill re­main­der with the to­mato juice. Gen­tly roll the in­gre­di­ents to­gether in the glass and top with cracked pep­per and the cel­ery stick (or cu­cum­ber) to gar­nish. Re­peat. Hourly.
