ZAC EFRON

“HIS WHOLE FOCUS IS HE DOESN’T WANT TO LOOK BULKY, HE DOESN’T WANT TO BE BIG, HE JUST WANTS TO LOOK FIT AND BE FUNCTIONAL. SO A LOT OF HIS TRAINING DOESN’T REALLY REVOLVE AROUND LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHTS.”

The best exercise for… PECS

“A good chest movement is dumbbell bench press and dumbbell slides, which are two basic movements that shape the chest nicely, and keep it rounded and full. By using a dumbbell rather than a barbell, you can equally strengthen both sides, whereas if you’re doing a barbell bench press, one side can compensate for the other side’s weakness so you create an imbalance.”

BICEPS

“Definitely standing barbell curls or standing dumbbell curls are the king of biceps, because you stress the bicep head from top to bottom, you can handle a lot of weight with it and they can grow pretty quickly.”

ABS

“The funny thing is everyone already has a sixpack, you just can’t see it, so that’s where diet comes into play. But I’ve always done hanging leg raises, you stress your abs in their entirety – I’ve got a sixpack year round and that’s my go-to.”
