While in­creas­ing num­bers of com­pa­nies (see Dior and Chanel) are ex­pand­ing scents into fully formed groom­ing ranges, only one is cater­ing to men who like their af­ter­shave to match their hair prod­uct, and that’s Pen­haligon’s. The ven­er­a­ble Bri­tish brand has has added a po­made, $69 (100g) to its ‘Bay­olea’ groom­ing range – the for­mu­la­tion of­fer­ing a medium hold and soft fin­ish with a pared-back ver­sion of the line’s le­mon­grass, pep­per and cedar blend.
