ARE MEN STILL SHOWING OFF THEIR ANKLES? PHIL, VIA EMAIL

The short answer is yes, they are. Ankle cleavage is still a thing – and while the fashion community is unlikely to overcome their sock allergy soon, the summer months mean regular folks can join the bare-ankle party once again. Just how much depends on the situation – you can get away with a bit more in a pair of casual jeans or chinos, but stick to just a hint of skin for the office. Also, it doesn’t hurt to get a bit of a tan first, because after a season under socks, no one wins friends with snow-white shins.

IS IT WRONG TO LOCK IN MULTIPLE TINDER DATES? GAVIN, VIA EMAIL

We get it. Dating is a numbers game, and it pays to have a few irons in the fire. Still, having a date every night of the week makes it sound more like a chore than a chance at eternal happiness. Call us old-fashioned, but there’s something a little unromantic about locking in a string of rendezvous, back to back. What if you hit it off with Monday’s date? Do you cancel your week’s appointments, or do you sit through them all, knowing they’re probably not going to work out? Either way, it’s not a good look. But if you’re really convinced it’s the best option, just be sure to avoid booking multiple sittings on one evening and don’t mention your ture dates to the person tting in front of you. They ost likely won’t appreciate our planning skills.
