THIS SEASON’S IT GIRL MIGHT ALREADY BE THE MOST RECOGNISABLE FACE IN FILM.

There are a couple of reasons Ms Bennett looks familiar. Firstly, the 28-year-old has been on screen for the best part of a decade, clocking up credits alongside everyone from Drew Barrymore to Denzel Washington. The other reason is that, like the rest of the planet, you might have noticed she’s a dead ringer for another Hollywood leading lady. “Everyone thinks I’m Jennifer Lawrence!” she says. “What if I just created a huge scandal – like, did something crazy in public? Jlaw takes a pie and smashes it in someone’s face!” It must be tempting. But Bennett is set to prove she’s not Lawrence – by starring in every single movie this summer. After The Magnificent Seven and The Girl on the Train, next up is Warren Beatty’s Rules Don’t Apply, then upcoming drama Thank You for Your Service, alongside Amy Schumer and Miles Teller, as well as the lead in Weightless, with Natalie Portman and Christian Bale. All of which leaves precious little time for pie-throwing ambitions. But maybe that’s for the best. “This interview is going so well,” she says, laughing. “My publicist is going to kill me.”
