How was Jackman as a subject?

Hugh is always a complete gentlemen; easy going, relaxed. Ultimate professional.

Favourite movie starring him?

Is it more or less of a challenge shooting someone so familiar to the public?

It all depends on the talent. I always have a place to begin to build from. I like to keep it light and fun on set which usually brings out great moments to capture.

Your first book was in 2000, what are some of the biggest changes in photography over the past 20 years?

The switch from film to digital opened up the profession and world of photography to everyone. Social media and camera phones have enabled a lot of people to discover a talent they didn’t know about.

As an Aussie living in the US, what do you miss about home?

The weather, the beaches, the laid-back vibe and of course my friends.

Is there anyone you haven’t worked with yet who’s on your bucket list?

I’ve had so many great experiences with people that I’ve worked with. I’m just happy to be working actively as a photographer.
