ILLUSTRATED OUR DRUGS STORY, P204

GQ (Australia) - - CONTRIBUTORS -

Describe your style of work.

A mix of pop and traditional culture all wrapped together with some surreal colour and line work.

Advice for aspiring designers?

Take three things you’re passionate about in your personal life and create a body of work around them. It may start as a personal project but the formula is undeniable and eventually with some hard work and luck you will be working on your dream projects.

Favourite piece of late?

I recently finished a series of seven artworks for the Chinese pop star, Chris Lee. Each artwork was for a cover of her live album and a stop on her 2018 tour.

Nice. Thoughts on the use of drugs in medical research – hell yes or crazy liberal fantasy?

Anything that can potentially save or improve people’s lives is a positive to me and I’m all for it.

HOW ELSE TO ILLUSTRATE A STORY ON PSYCHEDELIC DRUGS THAN THROUGH TRIPPY VISUALS?
