Call for food in­no­va­tors

Ap­pli­ca­tions are open un­til to­mor­row for the Young Food In­no­va­tors pro­gram, which is a 12-month in­ten­sive devel­op­ment pro­gram for young peo­ple work­ing in the red meat, hor­ti­cul­ture, seafood and dairy pri­mary pro­ducer sec­tors.

The pro­gram is aimed at young pro­duc­ers and sup­port­ing pro­fes­sion­als look­ing to develop new high-value op­por­tu­ni­ties or in­tro­duce dis­rup­tive tech­nolo­gies.

If ap­ply­ing from the red meat in­dus­try, the pro­gram is sup­ported by fund­ing from Meat and Live­stock Aus­tralia Donor Com­pany and the Fed­eral Depart­ment of Agri­cul­ture as part of its Ru­ral Re­search and Devel­op­ment for Profit Pro­gramme.
