Installation recognises six seasons
A garden installation representing the six Noongar seasons has been planted at Katanning Primary School.
The project, between the school and Katanning Landcare, took several months of planning, design and planting to create.
Two metal garden beds were used to shape the design into a blooming flower.
Last week, Year 3 students completed planting of the main feature.
The school’s garden beds represent the six Noongar seasons.
Students start planting shrubs in one of the garden beds.
The school worked in consultation with Katanning Landcare.
Newly planted shrubs are watered.
