Club enjoys success at national champs
Katanning Taekwondo Club returned home after a weekend spent in Bendigo, Victoria, for the National Taekwondo Championships from October 6-8. The Katanning team finished within the top 10 for their grade in Australia
The team qualified to compete nationally after their impressive performance at the WA State Championships in Perth and have been busy training in between competitions.
In the Poomsae category, Imogen Van Zyl and Susann N’Donga both won a bronze medal.
Imogen also took home a silver medal for her performance in sparring.
Besides having one member withdrawn because of illness, it was a successful weekend of action for Katanning Taekwondo Club.
