Narrogin Rotary Club is hosting two exchange students from Germany and Belgium.

Eva Clossett, from Belgium, and Sophie Rietbrock, from Germany, are in Narrogin and studying at Narrogin Senior High School during their stay.

Eva will be in Narrogin until July next year, while Sophie will be here until December before she moves to Fremantle for six months.

Both girls have already made plenty of friends and say people ask them all the time how to say words in French and German.

The girls visited Albany last weekend and were blown away by the beauty of Tornidirrup National Park, and the beaches.

Eva and Sophie both talk to their family and friends a lot but say it isn’t necessarily helpful for them.

“It’s hard because when we talk to them, we’re not speaking English, so it probably isn’t the best idea,” Sophie said. “As well, you miss them a lot but we know we’re going to miss Australia when we leave,” Eva added.

The girls were thrilled when they found they were heading to Australia as it was their first pick.
