DAY TO REMEMBER
Your guide to Anzac Day services and commemorations in Katanning and across the region, as the country prepares to remember those who served and died in conflicts worldwide.
Thousands are expected to take part in Anzac Day services on Wednesday.
Here is what some of the local Shires and RSL sub-branches have planned.
Katanning will only be holding a dawn service this year, with those who wish to take part in the pre-service marched asked to form at the corner of Clive and Carew streets at 5.45am.
The march will be followed by a service at Prosser Park.
After the service there will be a breakfast at the Scouts Hall for a gold coin donation.
Wagin will host both a dawn and family service.
The dawn service will be at 6.30am followed by breakfast in the Wagin Memorial Swimming Pool function room.
The main family service will start at 11am with a light lunch provided afterwards in the function room. A march will also take place before the main service at 10.50am.
A march will be held with assembly at 7.30am at the Commercial Hotel before a 7.45am march-off time. The 8am service will be held at the RSL Hall and will be followed by a gunfire breakfast.
There will also be a midmorning service at the Muradup Hall at 10am with morning tea provided afterwards.
Gnowangerup will hold a dawn service at 6am followed by breakfast at the Memorial Hall.
