Funds raised, all had a ball

The South­ern Dirt Young Farm­ers Net­work held its Se­cret Gar­den Ball on Sat­ur­day night.

Hun­dreds from the Wheat­belt and Great South­ern gath­ered at the Bosco­bel Hall for the Royal Fly­ing Doc­tor Ser­vice fundraiser.

With a live band, guests glammed up and the hall be­came the cen­tre for young farm­ers and mem­bers of re­gional com­mu­ni­ties to come to­gether.

Or­gan­iser Caro­line House said the ball was an­other great suc­cess.

“We have raised some much­needed funds for the Royal Fly­ing Doc­tor Ser­vice and made some me­mories,” she said.

The SDYF holds events through­out the year to con­nect ru­ral youth.
