Favourable winds give club a lift

Great Southern Herald - - News -

Narrogin Gliding Club has descended on the Stirling Range for its annual camp, a ritual for more than 40 years, on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.

Favourable wind conditions can create a ridge of lift above Bluff Knoll, which can sometimes produce “waves” allowing for excellent gliding as it did at the weekend.
