A WOMAN was cap­tured on CCTV us­ing a stolen credit card for fuel at a Floreat ser­vice sta­tion af­ter a Mit­subishi sta­tion wagon was stolen from a Glenelg Street, Mt Hawthorn about 2pm on Oc­to­ber 30.

Sergeant Paul Vo­jkovich said po­lice were in­ves­ti­gat­ing if the car theft was linked to a bur­glary where a lap­top, pass­ports and mo­bile phone were taken from an­other home in the street about the same time that day.

The woman (pic­tured) was de­scribed as be­ing in her early 20s, with dark-dyed hair in a bun, wear­ing a blue t-shirt and dark scarf, ma­roon skinny-style jeans and brown sandals.

The white, 1999-model Magna sta­tion wagon, regis­tra­tion 1BBN022 has not been re­cov­ered, and two men known to po­lice ar­rested about 3pm near Glenelg Street were later re­leased with­out charges.


SEV­ERAL cars have been dam­aged by a man jump­ing on their roofs at 475 Murray Street about 10.35pm on Septem­ber 30.

Po­lice said the man walked up and jumped on the roofs be­fore dam­ag­ing an­other ve­hi­cle by rip­ping off a side mir­ror.

The dam­age bill was es­ti­mated about $800.

The man was de­scribed as Cau­casian, 20-30, slight re­ced­ing hair line with long hair at the back.

North Perth

PO­LICE boarded a bus on Wan­neroo Road to ar­rest north­ern sub­urbs’ girls who al­legedly stole 64 cans of pre-mixed drinks from a Charles Street bot­tle shop about 7.10pm on Oc­to­ber 30.

“The bus was stopped near Lon­don Street,” Sergeant Paul Vo­jkovich said.

Girls aged 13 and 16, and two aged 17, were charged with steal­ing.

They will be sum­monsed to ap­pear at Perth Chil­dren’s Court at a later date.
