Christ­mas Food Ap­peal

It’s a sad fact, but not ev­ery­one cel­e­brates Christ­mas with lots of presents under the tree and enough food on the table.

That’s why the City of Bayswa­ter has launched its an­nual Christ­mas Food Ap­peal to help those in need.

This year all do­na­tions will help sup­port St Vin­cent de Paul’s work in the lo­cal com­mu­nity over the fes­tive sea­son.

Items in need this year in­clude tinned tuna and tinned meat, pasta sauces, new toys for chil­dren 10-years old and over, treats, lol­lies and gen­eral Christ­mas items, toi­letries and tea and cof­fee.

Non-per­ish­able food items can be left at the fol­low­ing col­lec­tion points up un­til Fri­day, 8 De­cem­ber: • City of Bayswa­ter Civic Cen­tre (61 Broun Av­enue, Mor­ley); • Paddy Walker Works De­pot (15 Wright Street, Bayswa­ter); • Mor­ley Li­brary (De­war Street, Mor­ley), Bayswa­ter Li­brary (King William Street, Bayswa­ter); The RISE (28 Eighth Av­enue, May­lands); and • Bayswa­ter Waves Aquatic Cen­tre (Broun Av­enue and Pri­estly

Street, Em­ble­ton).
