IN a weekend of one-sided matches, Cottesloe fielded its full-strength team to dominate City Beach 6-0 in round four of the women’s State League tennis competition.

It was Cottesloe’s first outright win led by Alicia Molik, Australia’s Federation Cup captain, who was well-supported by touring national academy player Maddison Inglis, Teiwa Casey and Lexie Weir to send a loud message to league leaders Royal Kings Park.

Kings Park, fired back a volley of its own with a 6-0 win over Hensman Park (HPTC), while Blue Gum defeated North Beach 6-0.

In the men’s State League, Hensman delivered a 5-1 win over an injured Dalkeith (DTC). League leaders Cottesloe remain undefeated with a 5-1 win away at Bayswater.
