RAINE Square’s new retail and dining precincts opened yesterday, while the muchanticipated Palace Cinemas start screenings today.

Headlined by the nine-screen Palace Cinemas, the Michelin-starred dim sum chain Tim Ho Wan and Coles Central, Raine Square has 12 casual dining restaurants, including Greenhorns, Brezel Brothers, Voodoo Coffee, Cocolat and Thai Thyme.

Charter Hall development manager Patrick Hollingworth said Raine Square provided a unique mix on the retail floor.

“We’ve created quite an experience in Raine Square and it’s an experience that’s quite unlike any other experience in Perth,” he said.

Mr Hollingworth said the new Palace Cinemas would draw people in to the city as a leisure destination, as well as a work destination.
