Sib­lings clash

AN at­tempt to stran­gle was al­legedly part of an as­sault when sib­lings fought over cash and a car was taken in Plain Street about 12.30pm on Septem­ber 26.

“The vic­tim and the of­fender were adult broth­ers,” Sgt Bren­nan said.

Sgt Bren­nan said it would be al­leged the stran­gling oc­curred when the vic­tim was at­tempt­ing to es­cape in a red Mit­subishi Lancer, which was re­ported stolen but later re­cov­ered.

In­quiries into the in­ci­dent

A THIEF en­tered an of­fice in James Street about 8.50am on Septem­ber 22.

Sgt Bren­nan said the man took a cash­box, which he hid un­der his jumper when he left the of­fice.

He was de­scribed as Cau­casian, mid-40s, with brown and grey hair.
