This time the melodic ideas are derived from a combination of E minor pentatonic (E G A B D) with an additional 6th (C#) heralding the move towards A7. Here it turns into the harmonically appropriate major 3rd, and rather nicely occurs just before this transition. Make sure your muting technique is up to par as this example will sound rather scrappy if you don’t keep on top of errant open strings throughout.
