Guitar Techniques - - Lesson: Session -

[Bars 26-35] things to watch out for in this final section are another second-string held bend from A to B in bar 30. the descending double-stop lick in bar 31 requires repeated plucking with the second and third fingers, so this should be approached slowly at first. In bar 32, the open fourth string should be palm muted to create a chicken pickin’ type of feel; in fact, it wouldn’t be wrong to mute it to the extent that it becomes a dead note, as this would create a more percussive chicken pick! throughout the piece note how the major blues scale (r, 2nd, b3rd, 3rd, 5th, 6th) is widely used.
