We start with an­other de­scend­ing blues scale se­quence, be­fore mov­ing to a mo­ment of rhyth­mic dis­place­ment – a five-note phrase is played in group­ings of four notes-per-beat (16th notes, or semi­qua­vers), mean­ing that each note lands in a dif­fer­ent place ev­ery time the phrase is re­peated.
