Example 3 descending and sliding licks

Guitar Techniques - - Lesson: Prog -

The first two bars of this example contain a descending blues scale lick – an idea that often appears in Tabor’s playing. The second two bars consist of a sequence of sliding notes; again, a common feature in his playing. It's quite tame by prog guitar standards, but still immensely musical.
