We’re go­ing at a speedy tempo here so take care. For this short but nev­er­the­less im­pres­sive de­scend­ing phrase, Benson is think­ing more in terms of I-V- I. He starts off in D mi­nor, out­lin­ing A7b9 and then re­solv­ing back to D mi­nor to fin­ish.
