space. The same can be said of the acous­tic Cut You Loose with its cool wah-wah solo; and the men­ac­ing Boo­gie Man is out­stand­ing. In­clud­ing the three ‘bonus tracks’ there’s a to­tal of 15 mag­i­cal per­for­mances here. Bet­ter still, the band will be at the O2 Academy in Is­ling­ton at the end of April, so that’s got to be worth a visit!


Kenny is look­ing back at some of the tracks that in­spired him to be­come the player he is to­day, which is surely one of the best blues gui­tarists ever. While the songs fit like a pair of old jeans, Kenny has gone back to their DNA and al­tered things enough to make them his own. There’s still that raw qual­ity that we love and, even with guest stars like Joe Walsh, Keb’ Mo’ and Ringo Starr, the mu­sic is all about feel rather than pol­ish. It’s a sen­sa­tional band so lots of stun­ning tracks here: I Live The Life I Love is a truly amaz­ing per­for­mance by all con­cerned; the BB King style cleaner gui­tar sounds on You Done Lost Your Good Thing adds some breath­ing
