JB’S Example 3 BRIAN MAY- STYLE PRE- BENDS
Pre- bending a string is quite tricky, as you need to know how much pressure is required for the note to be in tune. Brian May is a master of this, and he often pre- bends a note and then adds finger vibrato. Another classic May trick is to bend the string back and forth and keep the pick still, so the string is picked as it is bent from side to side. This concept is demonstrated in bars 5 and 6.
