EThis example was recorded on a Rickenbacker 12-string for authenticity, but sounds great on six-string, too. To achieve the pulsating rhythm, relax the pressure of your palm on every offbeat. Only the staccato notes should be fully damped. Use downstrokes throughout to achieve a strong, driving groove.
