The classic Brit metal rockers have three guitar players in their line-up – Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and ‘new boy’ Janick Gers. Murray favours a hot-rodded Strat, and his signature model features a locking vibrato, and the HSH pickup configuration. Janick Gers favours hot-rodding his Strat with Seymour Duncan pickups. This example features typical Maiden-style galloping rhythms, but to simplify matters here, we’re working with dual-harmony guitars.
