Hank GUITAR was TECHNIQUES there right at the MAGAZINE start with his 2 3 1959 5 Fiesta Red Jon (often Bishop's referred to as Flamingo Pink) Stratocaster. The guitar was a custom Strat order, 60th and was purchased by Cliff Richard for Hank. Some special features included a birdseye maple neck, ash body and gold hardware. The impact Hank had with this Strat has echoed on, and his style favours the vibrato arm in conjunction with the bridge pickup and a tape echo – and, of course, Hank’s touch!
