Although we’re mov­ing the same shape up a 3rd each time, you’ll no­tice that each chord con­sists of the same three notes - A, C# and E# - and as such any of the notes can be con­sid­ered the root. Try it with each of the chord shapes in Ex­am­ple 3 in turn.
