PrS iS CoNtiNuiNG its relationship with alex Lifeson of rush with an all-new SE thinline acoustic signature model (£889). Carrying over its unique appointments from the Private Stock alex Lifeson acoustic, the new PrS SE thinline model features a thinner body depth than the standard angelus model and PrS’s distinctive ‘birds in Flight’ fretboard inlay design. the announcement of Lifeson’s new signature guitar coincides with rush’s r40 LiVE 40th anniversary tour, which will be visiting 34 cities throughout North america this summer, beginning on May 8 in tulsa, oklahoma and finishing on august 1 in Los angeles, Califirnia.

PrS has also announced the newest addition to its S2 Series: the S2 Vela (£1199). the Vela model follows in the tradition of the company’s Mira and Starla models, providing vintageinspired personality and tons of tonal textures.

“the S2 Series has been a project of passion here,” says Jim Cullen of PrS Guitars. “the Vela breaks the traditional PrS platform, giving players a guitar they can trust night after night – and it looks badass!”.
