This ex­er­cise uses two dif­fer­ent types of re­peat. Start by play­ing the first bar as writ­ten, then when you reach bar two you will see a sin­gle bar re­peat; this means you should play the pre­vi­ous bar again. Once you have com­pleted all four bars you will ar­rive at a closing re­peat bracket, which sends you back to the open­ing re­peat bracket at bar 1. This means re­peat all four bars once again and fi­nally fin­ish with bar 5.
