The second half of bar 8 needs a barre at fret 11. This can be very difficult to do so spend some time finding the best arm and hand position to achieve it. This is a perfect example of where adopting the correct classical sitBtibng position mak2es all the difference. The melody note B at bar49 is played with a harmonic at the 19th fret. This harmonic is played entirely with the picking hand; the first finger touches the string directly over the 19th fret and the third finger of the picking hand plucks the string. At the same time the thumb plucks the bass note.
