nigel uses the same approach as the previous chorus: he ‘ignores’ the chords in ba3rs 31 and 333. This is a conscious choice and he can do so since the chords he’s ignoring are related to3the chords h3e’s actually playing.
JThe last few bars of the third chorus finish with some colourful lines. in bar 34 nigel uses lydian dominant mode (in F: F G a B C d eb) to create a very cool sound. The tu3rnaroun3d approach still ma3inly a Blu3es scale.
