This is more mem­o­rable than many more com­plex licks that could fit in its place. Koss’s gui­tar was over­dubbed, but this is arGranged so you play all t5he main parts in o7ne ‘pass’.


Build­ing from a sim­ple melody fol­low­ing the chord changes, bars 62-63 are a great set up to the first real ‘bluesy’ lick in bar 55. From here, things get more flam­boy­ant, par­tic­u­larly the slides in bars 65-67. The3last three bars5re­ally turn up the heat with so0me clas­sic Kos­soff wail­ing.
