Changing to a Strat, probably through a Fender Champ, this example explores Eric’s compositional style. The distinctive tone is the bridge and middle pickups together. Eric would have needed to jam the Strat’s three-way selector between settings for this – Fender didn’t offer a five-way switch until 1977!
