Guitar Techniques - - LESSON | VIDEO -

Verse 1 [Bars 8 – 13] The verse section is only six bars long and features an A Natural minor sound (A-B-C-D-E-F-G) . Some tasty chord sounds are used along with some classic, ‘shape 5’ A minor Pentatonic licks which, under Allen’s fingers, somehow sound more sophisticated than they should. Chorus 1 [Bars 14 to 18] The chorus is five bars long and moves through four

Db tonalities. Use A minor for bar 14, G minor for bar 15, Lydian (R-2-3-#4-5-6-7)

Bb for bar 16 and Lydian for bar 18. Learning the solo note for note here would certainly be a challenge, but the pay off would be well worth it!
