Example1 II Vs in descending semitones

Guitar Techniques - - LEARNING ZONE -

We kick this lesson off with a selection of four IIm7-V7 lines descending from Gm7-C7 to Em7-A7 in semitones. The beauty of learning this example is that each two-bar phrase works perfectly independently of its neighbours, so once you’ve got these under your fingers, feel free to move them about to any key or leave them all in the same tonality for great melodic usability against a static minor (II) or dominant (V) vamp.
