ExamplE6 Solo

This solo is played over an e5 and d5 powerchords, which allows for some creative note choices leaving the tonality somewhere in-between e minor Pentatonic (e2-Gx-axx-Bx-xdx]xaxnxdx e Mixolydian (e-F#-G#-a-B-C#-d). The phrasing often moves between straight eighth-notes and triplets, which are best thought of as two-notes per beat and three-notes per beat respectively. Practise the solo in one or two-bar chunks before linking it all together and playing along to the backing track.
