[Bar 27] al­though not typ­i­cally found in this key (e mi­nor/G ma­jor), the Fmaj7 is a use­ful pass­ing chord and high­lights the more so­phis­ti­cated style of song­writ­ing that doesn’t al­ways fol­low the clas­sic folk/coun­try/blues i-iv-v route.
