This ex­am­ple puts into prac­tise the in­for­ma­tion from Ex­am­ple 1c into a tasty II-V-I-VI pro­gres­sion. Bar 1 shows the stan­dard II-V-I move; bar 3 is II- II-I. No­tice the A7#5#9 chord con­verts back to E 13 when the tri­tone substitution is used.
