let the open fourth string on the in­tro part ring out un­der the rest of the ma­jor and sus­pended chords and do the same with the Em7 chords later in the track. The chords aren’t played stac­cato as such, but they are a lit­tle clipped (light palm mut­ing), so watch the tim­ing and don’t play too ag­gres­sively. It’s all about get­ting the right groove with the rhythm part here and for this style in gen­eral.
