Back in the key of B, we’re us­ing B-d#-F-F#-a to cre­ate some funky fu­sion lines that im­ply a Pentatonic feel, but with more melodic in­ter­est. like ex­am­ple 1, there is some econ­omy pick­ing to ar­tic­u­late the faster triplet lines. It’s worth say­ing this once again: per­se­vere be­yond the ini­tial dis­com­fort and you’ll have sig­nif­i­cantly ex­panded your vo­cab­u­lary. Give each ex­am­ple just 15 min­utes a day and you’ll soon no­tice the dif­fer­ence.
