Play­ing two notes at ei­ther end of a three-string skip adds an­other layer of pEos­si­bil­ity – and dif­fi­culty – to the ba­sic idea. again, prac­tise th­ese ideas to a click or metronome to get your brain and fin­gers work­ing to­gether, but re­mem­ber you might only want to use this idea as a fleet­ing ‘sur­prise’ in a more linear solo. You could ham­mer on be­tween the two notes at each ex­treme, but played like this it’s prob­a­bly eas­i­est to use a pick.
