Pre­dom­i­nantly MV6, hand-picked, crushed and destemmed, fer­mented in French oak (25% new), ma­tured for 12 months. Good colour; the fra­grant bou­quet of spicy red fruits is picked up in a mil­lisec­ond by the palate that ex­pands the same flavour band­width. It’s lively and fresh, with pu­rity an im­por­tant sign­post for a very good pinot. 14% alc. With a gor­geous silky and smooth tex­ture on the palate, this pinot is drink­ing beau­ti­fully now and into the fu­ture. Pre­dom­i­nately MV6 fruit, this pinot has a lovely bal­ance with plums and straw­ber­ries and a beau­ti­ful savoury fin­ish. It pairs sen­sa­tion­ally with braised duck leg. 30%
